Powerful Performance by Student Theatre Artists, Sunbeam Lahartara
We had the privilege of witnessing a remarkable theatrical performance by the talented students of Sunbeam School Lahartara, under the guidance of the brilliant Mr. Parnab Mukherjee.
After their warm welcome they performed on the act titled “City Without Pin Code”. It was a thought-provoking piece that beautifully bridged the gap between two generations of Abhimanyu—one from mythology and the other from today’s world. The performance explored how modern-day Abhimanyus, the young and brilliant minds of today, find themselves caught in the complex chakravyuh of societal expectations, pressures, and choices.
The students delivered their roles with depth, emotion, and precision, leaving the audience captivated and reflective. The message was clear, powerful, and incredibly relevant.
Session with Mr. Parnab Mukherjee was nothing short of extraordinary. Held in a new and inspiring venue—our very own library, “Nalanda”—the atmosphere was filled with wisdom, curiosity, and the magic of books all around.
Amidst the shelves of knowledge, students engaged deeply, explored new perspectives, and learned immensely. It was a well-spent Sunday—full of meaningful conversations, insights, and creative stimulation.

Parnab Mukherjee Sir’s Workshop –
Session was truly insightful as Parnab Sir focused on Career Guidance for students. He highlighted that language should be the top priority when aiming for success in any field. Clear pronunciation is essential, regardless of the language.
He introduced the Career Progression Chart to help students visualize their growth paths. Sir emphasized that while English is the soul of schools, our native languages like Hindi, Bangla, Marathi, etc., are the mud that nourishes our roots.
In the context of theatre, he beautifully said, “Looks don’t matter, transformation does.”
Sir also guided us about various top colleges students should aim for.

Today was a day filled with melody, tradition, and cultural enrichment at Sunbeam School Ballia!
We had the privilege of hosting Dr. Rakesh Kumar, Assistant Professor at Banaras Hindu University and a renowned flautist from the Banaras Gharana, for a soulful Indian Flute Performance in association with SPIC MACAY 2025.
Students and teachers were captivated by the serene sounds and profound knowledge shared by Dr. Kumar during the workshop. It was a beautiful experience that brought us closer to the rich heritage of Indian classical music.
