Academic Calendar
The academic calendar shows how we plan the year for your child and for you.
We follow, you plan
A calendar, without dates.
The school publishes its calendar as a document, and this page hands you that document whole — the planner for the current session and the two before it, exactly as the school issued them. What it does not do is retype a date out of one of them.
These are Sunbeam group publications, and their dated lines are marked campus by campus. A term start copied out of one and printed here would be another school's date under Ballia's name — so the file is offered whole, and anything you need confirmed goes to the school office.
Meeting dates are set out separately on Parent–Teacher Meetings.
What you will find
Four things, and the reason for each
- 01
Terms
The shape of the session — and orientation, which the school runs before it begins rather than during it.
- 02
Holidays
Published with the session so a family plans around the school year rather than against it.
- 03
Examination dates
On the same calendar as everything else, so a meeting can be read against the paper that preceded it.
- 04
Parent–teacher meetings
Placed before the session starts — which is what stops a meeting date arriving as a signal that something is wrong.

A year you can plan against
Planned well, lives better.
A clear academic plan helps your child stay prepared, confident and ready for what matters. The school's own calendar is the one to plan against — which is why this page gives you the document rather than a summary of it.
