Senior Secondary

Classes XI and XII — four streams, a galvanometer measured properly, and a project run with Monash.

Classes XI – XII

Four routes,chosen once

The stage opens up, and the only irreversible thing on it is the choice the school asks a student to make. Four streams, each taught to CBSE board level. What each contains — and how far each of those lists can be relied on — is set out on Subject Combinations.

  • 01 PCM Physics · Chemistry · Mathematics
  • 02 PCB Physics · Chemistry · Biology
  • 03 Commerce Accountancy · Business Studies · Economics
  • 04 Humanities The core the school has not confirmed

Beyond the classroom

and a galvanometermeasured properly.

Sunbeam students travelled to Delhi for an international innovation project on entrepreneurship, run with Monash University, Australia at K. R. Mangalam World School, G.K-II.

Closer to home and just as specific: in 2025 Class XII-B determined the internal resistance of a galvanometer and calculated its figure of merit by the half-deflection method. The school’s own note on it is four words — “the practical, done properly.”

  • Innovation projects With a named international partner.
  • Real experiments Measured, and then verified.
  • Higher thinking Method before the answer.
  • Future ready By design, not by chance.

The rest of what came back from the national and international programmes is on Student Success.

Where understanding takes shape

Board practicalsstart here.

Class IX is the year the laboratory programme stops being introductory. Physics, Chemistry and Biology each carry board practicals from Class IX to Class XII — the same practicals a board expects a candidate to have done, in rooms built for one subject each.

The curriculum itself is published class by class as the school’s PRECEPT syllabus, session 2026-27.

Board outcomes are published separately, on Board Results, and are not restated here.

  • Physics · Chemistry · Biology

Board practicals, Classes IX–XII, in rooms built for one subject each.

  • Guiding Futures · IX–XII

Career guidance taken by named professionals, with their office stated.

  • PRECEPT syllabus

A published document per class, session 2026-27.

  • Milestone

The CBSE Class XII board examination.

More than books

Learning thatgoes further.

Labs, libraries, digital tools and activities that turn curiosity into capability — none of them added for the board years, all of them already there.

  • Well-equipped science laboratories — one room for each subject
  • Computer laboratories, junior and senior — 40+ machines each
  • Robotics Lab — drone, 3-D printer and telescope
  • Four inquiry rooms among the twelve laboratories
  • Nalanda Library — 17,574 books — and the language laboratory
  • Fifteen sports, indoor and outdoor
  • Career counselling and Guiding Futures, Classes IX to XII

Every room above is on the school’s own facilities inventory; the twelve laboratories are set out on Laboratories & Academic Clubs.

The senior secondary journey

From learningto leadership.

  1. 01

    Learn

Four streams, each taught to CBSE board level.

  2. 02

    Practise

Board practicals in three rooms, Classes IX to XII.

  3. 03

    Analyse

A galvanometer measured, and its figure of merit calculated.

  4. 04

    Lead

An international innovation project run with Monash University.

A real venture

A real venture,and a clearer direction.

Senior Secondary is where preparation meets purpose. Four streams taught to board level, a galvanometer measured and its figure of merit calculated, and an innovation project carried to Delhi with an Australian university — every practical, every lesson and every project a step toward what comes next.
